About the Sex Worker Advocacy Committee

The Las Vegas NLG is building community-based legal support to empower sex workers in Southern Nevada. Our primary goal is to support sex workers and the community in their needs. As we continue to grow our project, we hope to advocate for: decriminalization, labor rights, response/alternative to policing, destigmatization, inclusivity, and intersectionality in types of sex work, gender, gender identity, race.

We hope to facilitate access to justice and understanding issues impacting workers in the larger community. We are working towards destigmatizing sex work in the larger community so that resources are more available to sex workers as a whole.
